I liked the safari twist on this "chapter" of the Rizzoli & Isles series although I initially found the transitions between that & the murder of Leon Gott to be confusing. I really wish Gerritsen would have used time stamps atop the chapters. As always, good character development and an intriguing story. The POV kept changing though and at times I found it hard to tell who was "speaking".
Love these books. Good detective work, good and mostly believable characters.
It’s been a while since I read a Rizzoli and Isles book and this one was as good as the others in the series. I really like Jane’s and Maura’s relationship now. And that they don’t have to agree on everything to stay concerned about each other and connected to the cases they work on.
My favorite of all 11. Now, I'm really waiting for the next one.

A true professional is he (or she) who makes you feel safe, secure, makes you feel that someone cares about you, weather you're in the African bush as lying in your bed to dispose of a mild illness whyle reading. This is what did Tess Gerritsen today for me with this beautiful thriller, charged-up at the right point, complicated and difficult to decipher until the last, like any good thriller should be. Characters and settings described to perfection, with the only flaw of some incursions into the past of the two protagonists that make sense only to those who have read the entire series from the start and that can disturb those who, like me, do not care of serial.

Questo è quel che ha fatto Tess Gerritsen oggi per me con questo suo bel thriller, adrenalico al punto giusto, complicato e fino all'ultimo difficile da decifrare come qualsiasi buon thriller deve essere. Personaggi e ambientazioni descritti alla perfezione, con l'unico neo di alcune incursioni nel passato delle due protagoniste che hanno senso solo per chi ha letto dall'inizio l'intera serie e che possono disturbare chi, come me, non si cura della serialità.
