I’m honestly not sure how I feel about this book. I liked the satirical concept, the social commentary aspect. But the characters could have been more developed, and the ending didn’t do it for me personally. I think it needed another chapter. But I get why it ended the way it did too.
A quick read, all read in one morning.

Deeply unsettling. It is dystopian fiction yes, but there is a very thin line between what this book describes and reality.

This is a chilling account of the horrors that women endure in India, and I'm so surprised that it flew under the radar. Whoever wrote the blurb calling it dystopian satire has to be kidding himself - this is too uncomfortably real to be called dystopian, and satire? Nothing about this is amusing. 1984 came and went without ado, but the reality in this book feels eerily imminent.
