I took a break on this one, the second half has a bunch of one-off stories that are just okay. I also didn't love some of the alternate artists that were picked. I really didn't like the spiderman crossover, for example. There are some good issues of Ms. Marvel content in here, I just felt like the plot was too hijacked by tie-ins and trying to match the timelines with whatever is going on in the broader Marvel universe.

I want to like these so much more, but I just don't think 'superhero' comics are for me

Anything that defends the current generation of young adults is 10/10 in my book. Kamala is absolutely adorable. Wolverine actually stopped himself from cursing at our favorite Muslim teenager! This series continues to be a delight.

This was a good follow up to the first volume, though it lacked some of the depth in that collection. I'm hoping they continue to move the story forward, and maintain their focus on the protagonist's story with the depth and complexity demonstrated in the original collection, rather than falling into easy comic book tropes.

I really enjoyed this, just not as much as the first one. Kamala is still a very interesting character but I just wish we got to see more of her real life instead of just her superhero life.

Kind of dumb considering this is literally a superhero comic book.

18. A book by an author you've only read once before

TERRIFIC. Love the Wolverine appearance, and Lockjaw. Kamala and the series really start to hit their stride in these issues and it's great stuff.
Great cover, too. My 8yo brought this to read while sitting on the sidelines at swimming and everyone from 5yo girls to 12yo boys to grownups were coveting our reading material.

I really like this version of Ms. Marvel, but this storyline wasn't my favorite.

Getting back into the marvel comics. I love Kamala but I just didn’t feel what I felt in the first volume. I guess I thought this one to be a slower pace.
