I picked this book for a light read but it certainly wasn't light! This book was perfect. Incredible. Amazing. Pure. And so heart-touching. This book pulled at my heart strings and I wish we had more of these love stories. Everything was so incredible. TBH, I don't usually enjoy Timelines between past and present but this book? This book felt like home, like a warm hug, or a hot cup of coffee on a rainy day!!

This book was such a masterpiece. I feel that all of us need an Elliot in our lives. Someone who sees us for who we are, loves us, and looks out for us. Someone who's your person. Personally, I think that the 'mistake' plot was very cruel to Macy and Ell. And after that her father's death? That was crazy, and scary, and made me cry and sob. Loving someone isn't an easy thing to do. It requires a lot of strength. And I absolutely adore this pair of sweethearts. Hopefully, we'll get so read an epilogue.

This book was cute and light, very rom-com vibes. Overall I enjoyed the book however there were some logistical issues I had with it. The secondary characters were not developed at all, they were flat. The plot was extremely linear and predictable for the most part. Even the two main characters were developed and I still think they could have been developed further. Despite these shortcomings, the book was enjoyable. If you want a light beach read, I suggest this book. I would hardly call it a brain buster, but nevertheless it is cutesy.
