I picked this up as a Book Bub freebie a couple of days ago and devoured it in one sitting.

A Christmas Homecoming is a fun and lighthearted story set against a beautiful Montana backdrop.
Ellie, a housekeeper at Bar V5 ranch, loves everything to do with the festive season whilst Josiah is a workaholic who doesn't. Opposites attract as the pair both discover what is important to them and a satisfying happy ever after seals their fate.

Packed full of all things Christmassy details, the narrative leaves the reader with a warm fuzzy feel-good feeling.

A Christmas Homecoming by Melissa McClone
Have read other works by the author and am familiar with the locale of this book and other authors who write from the same area.
Elle works at the ranch, not only tending to the guests by Josiah-her brother's friend and she had a crush on him when she was younger.
He's returned home after the war damage and he's doing rehab. Love hearing of the winter activities as she is able to talk him into going.
He does find her attractive but he comes off as uninterested. She loves getting him under the mistletoe and kissing him.
Love hearing of the volunteer work she does and how he signs up to help out as well.
Like interaction with other males and how Josiah finds out more about Elle's past and that makes him want to help out a lot more...
Elle knows she has to stay away from him and another at the Bar V5 will try to attract Josiah-Elle wants to be far away from witnessing all that.
Josiah tries to stay up on the happenings with Wittech-the company he does computer work for. Like the suggestions of how to improve your brain memory.
She learns about his business after rescuing the lost cat and she realizes he also has financed the kids day-by supplying favorite foods, after all he's a millionaire.
With Christmas the whole day and their relationship changes and you wonder if they will ever get together....
Enjoyed the read and learning new things about Montana and the people at the Bar V5 ranch.
Excerpt from the next book is included. Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.

Ellie is set in her mind to have the best Christmas ever and to have fun doing it by bringing cheer to everyone else. She has things that has happened in the past but she is ready to not allow that to cloud her future. She is ready to enjoy showing the new guest Josiah that Christmas is the best time of the year and its not as bad as he thinks. Josiah is being forced to take a vacation or he will loose his job, and he is not happy about that. When the board of his company sends him home he knows that he will fight the process every step of the way and he is going to start with fighting the christmas decorations that are everywhere and bands them from his room. He just never expected running into Ellie his friends little sister and the elf of Christmas.
This story is really such a cute Christmas story it really draws you and keeps you there and enjoying the christmas spirit. Sometimes Christmas brings miracles and magic and that is present in the book. The loss of someone special can really break people and in this story is shows that not everything bad can brake people but things can happen when everyone comes together. Family by blood or by choose is something else that shines in this book. This book is worth the fun of reading and christmas story.

Disclosure: I received this book free of charge from the publisher, but this review consists of my honest opinions, not influenced in any way by the author or publisher

I really enjoyed this book. I read it in one day. I really loved all the characters and how sweet and generous they were. It was a very good love story with a lot of the mushy kind! A perfect Christmas book! I would recommend this book.

How do you make someone enjoy Christmas?
When Josiah runs into his high school best friend’s sister – all grown up – he cannot believe they are the same person.
Eleanor – now Ellie – is set to help Josiah recuperate from a pretty drastic illness. He is sent to the ranch where he must rest and go through therapy to rebuild his strength. Can this multi-billionaire manage what he is feeling and turn his bah-humbug attitude into something meaningful for Christmas? Can the pest from years past get to him in a different way?
Another good book by Melissa McClone.

I can't even put this on my romance shelf because the couple doesn't do anything more than kiss chastely. The ending was weak and unsatisfying.
