❤️ a really nice fluffy book with all my favorite tropes & microtropes rolled into a cozy romcom 🫶
💔 didn’t expect the slow burn, which i usually love but gdi i was so excited for these two to finally just. get. together. 😂

I have read this whole series and although I did really enjoy this book it was missing some of the Bradford antics I have come to immensely enjoy.

I was looking forward to this story but spent the whole book wondering why no one got her glasses that stayed in place better, every few sentences she was pushing her glasses back up her nose, it was rather distracting.

Worth the wait

Okay I am a huge fan of R.L. Mathewson! Her writing is so different that I enjoyed reading every book is the A Neighbor from Hell series.
I really wish her books were available in book form.
Eric and Morgan have been friends since they were little. They grew up holding in their love for each other.
A misunderstanding lead Eric to believe Morgan didn't like him so he buried those feelings while trying to move on to wrong women after wrong women.
Morgan was trying to move on after watching Eric continue to date different girls. She couldn't handle it anymore after he decided to marry Amber.
Well, things change and Eventually feelings come to light.

I honestly don’t know why I didn’t DNF this. It’s about 2 best friends who are in love with each other but don’t tell each other. The story itself was generic but fine. The writing however is all over the place. They would be mid activity and it would just go to the next chapter and they would be somewhere else with no transition from point A to B. There are only so many times you can read the word adorable before it loses all meaning. It’s like the author picked one word for everything and then repeated constantly. No need to come up with other words to describe speaking just have everyone mumble. Want to describe anything? It’s adorable. Also not sure how people could pout so much.

Morgan had a plan, she had watched her best friend Eric Bradford take another attempt down an aisle and her heart could no longer take it.  Morgan had been in love with Eric since they were kids and she knew that he would never see her more then a friend.  Thinking she saw the last of him with her bags packed and ready to go, Eric shows up and kidnaps her for the honeymoon he is not going on.   Forced together, Morgan needs to tell Eric she is leaving, while Eric is setting a plan to woo Morgan. The Bradford curse is in full force but can Morgan trust this side of Eric?

Unfortunately for me I don't remember Eric in previous books.   I struggled trying to place him in the beginning, but it did not matter anyway as this was definitely a Neighbor from Hell book.  Morgan is great, she is different then the other main characters and she definitely knows how to wind up Eric.  Another great story by this author.
