This series continues to delight. There were parts of this book that I did not see coming that I completely adored. But at the same time, I was a bit disappointed that Slade and Osrik and the rest of the Wrath didn't get much page time. That being said, I did enjoy what we did see of Slade. He was as morally grey as ever and delightfully unhinged.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the final installment.

Auren is flung to the fae world and signs up to aid the rebellion again the evil king. She ends up helping humans escape Lord Cull (actually Slade's father) only to be betrayed and sent to the King's castle. Slade is punishing everyone that hurt Auren. The ice queen works to stop the invading fae army. Only one spicy scene.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m not happy that Auren and Slade didn’t reunite in this book BUT the ending?!?! GOD DAMMIT lolol

I was sus about Malina throughout this book but I’m lowkeh rooting for her now though.

Fuck Kaila, fuck Cull and Brennur, and fuck Pruin too

I can’t wait for the Slade and Auren reunion and for him to save her from whatever tf happened at the end

DNF - I don't understand how this book is so long and yet I got half way through and NOTHING had happened yet. The writing didn't make me feel anything - it was very stunted and immature to me.

SPOILERS:
After spoiling it for myself and reading the reviews I am very happily putting it down, there's no way I could read all that for the mains to not have been together for a single scene, and for her to end the book with memory loss.
