This book was phenomenal and Rothfuss is a genius. The pacing was wonderful for the most part and I care more about Kvothe than most people in my life. So much happened, but there is so much more that can happen. I've already begun reading wiki pages and the subreddit to form theories and get a better grasp on the story. No idea how Rothfuss will wrap all of this up in one book unless he continues Kvothe's current life in a new trilogy, but we shall see soon enough. The Ctheah is absolutely the most interesting "character" of the series - omniscient AND malicious? So much could've stemmed from Kvothe meeting him and that fact is mind boggling. Denna's patron is totally Cinder/Bredon by the way and that is heartbreaking in itself. I suspect the Maer will be quite important too. So much so say, but off to speak to my friend who finished it yesterday! Now I join the wait for book 3 like the rest of you.

This one had more exciting things happening than the first and then it got stuck for awhile. Ended on a cliffhanger with absolutely no other context so hoping the third one comes out to answer those questions!
