Idk whether to scream, cry or laugh. I don't understand how a book this short could mess ne up so bad 😭😭. I knew this book wasn't gonna be a hea its more of a hfn bc its a prequel to the series but damn do i wanna cry.
I was not expecting ANYTHING that happened like not one thing. Definitely enjoyed this story a lot. A lot happened and I need to go read the rest of the series to see how everything gets resolved like right now.
I liked the characters and we got enough about them together and what happens after to make you want more of them. From the beginning they couldn't stop thinking about one another. I found them to be really cute together.
Listen just read the book it was really good. Idk what else to say without spoiling. Now let me go and cry😭

When I tell you I have been waiting for ever for this back story it did not disappoint. I have read the Noctifer Witch series and fell in love but I knew I needed the backstory for her parents. This story was tragic but amazing at the same time.

Devilishly, or should I say demonly delicious! Cursed Fate is the kind of novella that you wish, scream, rant and rave that it should be a novel…in fact, a series of novels!! Then you go back to the author’s notes and scream for joy because it is a prequel for a series! (Still dancing) The magic that G.R. Loreweaver has woven, is so intricate that to the untrained eye, its simple. But it is in fact, very far from that.

A fated love story, much like Romeo and Juliet, draws you in to the lives of Elswyth and Orobas, a demon and a half elf-half witch who are from neighboring villages. And the love they discover for each other, well, it’s wonderful, spicy, exciting, deep and... cursed.

I am so in love with G.R.’s writing and so eager to devour more of her books! She is definitely being added to my favorite author’s list!! And yes, adding all her books to my TBR list!!

This is a fabulous prequel to the Noctifer Witch Series and it's the story of Forsythia's Parents. It's a very quick read and one that will give you all the feels and take you on an emotional roller coaster. It has Romeo and Juliet vibes and unfortunately, we all know how that ends, so just be aware of that going into it! This is absolutely worth the quick read!

The Halfling and the Demon

If you have read the Noctifyer Witch series by the amazing G.R. Loreweaver, and wondered how Forsythia came to be, then your in luck. Cursed Fate is the sweet but tragic story of how Elswyth and Orobas came together for a forbidden night and created the most powerful being in the magickal world.
This tale is full of unexpected bonds, misunderstandings, terrible rumors, and the creation of not only one of the most beloved characters, but also one of the most evil creatures ever thought of.
I highly recommend, if you haven't started your journey with the Noctifyer Witch, you grab Cursed Fate by G.R. Loreweaver. And if you have already indulged in the spectacular series from the start, then read this tragic beginning of a most amazing characters.

It was so wonderful to see the backstory of how Forsythia came to be. In this book, we get to see Elswyth and her relationship with Orobas, how things went awry, why they were estranged, and a little more about Ori. I was so angry that it was all a misunderstanding but would we have the fierce noctifer witch we know and love if things hadn’t gone this way? This is a great prequel to the Noctifer Witch series.

I've not read the series yet, so this is my first step into the world.

I was annoyed when I got the end and had to remember it was a novella 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ can't wait to read the rest!

Loved Aunt Olive and her bond with Elswyth. Orbius made me laugh. Can't wait to read the rest of their story.

This Noctifer Witch prequel was AMAZING! Elswyth and Orobas were star crossed lovers from the start.  Fated mates turned sour that caused a huge disturbance between the communities!  This was a quick read, but full of love, spice, devastation, loss   And more love.  I couldn’t put it down, it had me hooked from the very first paragraph!
