Powerful read. It is incredible to read this in 2021 when so much and so little has changed. I loved the poetry interspersed, the joint narratives of political evolution and imprisonment/prosecution, the glimpse into the NYC, Rikers, etc. of another era. Up there with Malcom X on political histories/manifestos.
