this was so good - great even. so what if the author doesn't even attempt to explain the magic in this book? I loved it. the idea reminded me of howl's moving castle and for that it gets 4 stars automatically. if you've been eyeing this book, give her a chance.

A really cute love story, with a fun magical element. It took me about 60 pages to get into it, but once I got into it I zoomed through.
