Lovely book. Kept me engaged. Well-written and cool concept. I think it is more of a hybrid women’s lit and romcom. I can’t see myself re-reading it, hence not five stars. But this is a sweet romance with likable characters and a beautiful description of grief.

4.5 stars! I ATE this up oh my god. it was corny in all of the right places and real enough for me feel the characters with the magic included. I was picturing the movie as I was reading I just knowww it'd be great.

Such a fun and creative story. I loved Clementine, Iwan, and Aunt Analea. The magic and the travel added such fun whimsical components to the story. Their journey to find themselves and who they really are in the world and through love, loss, guilt, and grief was relatable and inspiring. Highly recommend!

That was love, wasn’t it? It wasn’t a quick drop—it was falling, over and over again, for your person. It was falling as they became new people. It was learning how to exist with every new breath. It was uncertain and it was undeniably hard, and it wasn’t something you could plan for.
Love was an invitation into the wild unknown, one step at a time together.

I liked this book but it wasn't the best thing I've read, if there was less hype about it being the best book ever I might have gone into it differently and given it a 4 star. I also guessed the 2 major plot points pretty instantly because it was blindingly obvious which kinda ruined the wow factor for me too.
I am excited to read her other books and her new release 'a novel love story' sounds so intriguing to me

Honestly i was a bit bored? everyone loves this and the premise was so cool but i just couldn't get into it. this definitely focuses more on clementines life and character growth which is great and all but its not what i wanted... this didn't really feel like a love story to me at all. the writing was good and i did really life the characters but i did not care about the relationship at all.
