I've never read this author before and was pleasantly surprised by it. It's a nice refreshing romance, F/F which isn't so common in the book world. Very light on the smut, steam maybe 2 stars worth, but the overall vibe of the story was a solid 4 stars.

Also, Abby Craden is a phenomenal narrator, and I'll certainly look for more narrations by her.

I love Abby Craden and will 100% listen to anything she narrates. That being said, this book is one of my first DNF in a very long time.

I really enjoyed the idea of the enemies and the co-workers getting into it and falling in love. However, the writing was atrocious and I couldn’t get past the halfway mark. I will say that I have read great reviews related to other books that Georgia Beers writes and I will definitely be checking her out again.

I just dindn’t fall in love with the characters, or really wanted to root for them.

The most interesting aspect of this whole book was the various different beers they brewed,… and I think that speaks a lot to the work itself.

I'M SQUEALING THIS WAS SO CUTE AND I AM SO HAPPY.

I'm honestly not the greatest fan of contemporary romance books, I always feel like I need something else? But this was great. Mundane, but not boring. Enemies to friends to lovers is such a fucking top tier trope, and it was done so seamlessly and so well here. It didn't feel rushed or unnatural, and the building attraction and UST was just so damn good. And I'm HEAD OVER HEELS FOR BOTH MCS. I love these dumb lesbians. <3

I listened to the audiobook as read by Abby Crayden and that definitely influenced my enjoyment. She did an AMAZING job, not just because of her voice, which is just appealing to me, but her inflection and tone and the different voices for the different characters were spot on. I want to straight up marry her Andrea voice. Also, she managed to make the sexy bits actually sexy, as opposed to vaguely ridiculous. Kudos.

And jeez, I really liked their relationship. The part where Kendall comes back from the road-trip and goes to Andrea's to find that she'd left on the light for her is so sweet and tender I wanted to cry. And the ending was so amazing!! T__T

It's definitely not a perfect book; the author kind of dropped the ball with the whole volleyball thing (eyyy see what I did there) and I feel like their past in high school could have been explored more? But screw perfect, this book made me HAPPY and I'm so glad I listened to it.

This was sweet. Probably a 3.5. I’ve never encountered a Georgia Beers book that I didn’t go, “well, that was nice” at the end of so far. I’ve always enjoyed Abby Craden’s narration, too. I don’t drink, and I don’t care about beer, so all the brewing talk and such wasn’t really my jam, but it was nice to see the research of it and it rounded out the character of Kendall well.

I give this book a 3.25 rating. It was enjoyable, but it made me crave trying out craft beers lol

This was fine? The majority of the book was cute enemies to lovers while bonding over beer and cats. All good there. But the major "conflict" of the story really comes from characters being morons, which I hate. Stop being stupid.

I was so bored by this one… It’s been a few days since I finished it and since then I started reading something new. Now, coming back to review, I had to read the synopsis again just to remember what went on—it was that forgettable. I saw no chemistry between the main couple and I was just super frustrated by their behavior and refusal to talk to each other for most of the book. In the end, I just had a very hard time believing they’d work out as a real couple and that their relationship could really go beyond the physical aspect. I think if this had been a physical or ebook read, it would either have taken me a long time to finish, or I would have DNFed it. The pacing was slow and there wasn’t a lot of conflict to keep the story moving. But, it was free on audible, so there you go.
