@mathy_library m'en parles depuis sa sortie, me dis que je vais aimé et elle avait raison ! J'aurais dû l'écouter plus tôt.
Ici on va suivre l'histoire d'une jeune coréenne qui n'a pas eu la vie facile et qui s'est "télèversé" dans la peau de Pénélope Eckart, la vilaine d'un jeune de romance en vogue. Malheureusement, elle va tomber dans le mode difficile où la seule issue possible pour Pénélope c'est la mort à chaque mauvaise décision ...
J'ai grave aimé l'originalité de cette histoire, c'est vachement prenant et on se laisse vite aspirer par le livre. De plus, j'ai pas mal apprécié le personnage de Pénélope qui est vachement réfléchit d'entrée et qui prend des décisions cohérentes dès le début. J'espère en savoir plus dans les prochains tomes mais vraiment ce Manhwa me conforte dans l'idée que j'aime beaucoup ce genre et que j'en veux d'autres ! Je terminerai juste cette review en faisant une mention spécial pour Derick

Summary:

Not for Penelope. She's the unwanted Daughter of a Duke, and having just finished playing this game (The Duke's Super Love Project), she knows just how lethal her future can get. Somehow, she'll have to find a way to escape this horrible situation. At least she has some insight on what events to avoid.

Ohhhh, man. This is a dark isekai if I've ever seen one! Villains Are Destined to Die Vol. 1 is so emotionally compelling that all I want to do is bundle Penelope up and protect her from the world—or keep reading. Yeah, it's the latter.
I originally started reading Villains Are Destined to Die on Tapas, but I got impatient. Thankfully, there are already a few volumes of this beauty, so I get to binge it for a bit. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Penelope thwarts the incoming dangers.
I like the twist in Villains Are Destined to Die – rather than a girl ending up in a world where everyone magically wants her, Penelope has to find a way to create a non-lethal path for herself. That said, this series is a bit depressing, so plan ahead and have a lighter read lined up to follow this one. (It's totally worth it, though).
