weird and interesting and gorgeous

When I was a kid, I adored books like The Jolly Postman that required taking actual letters out of envelopes pasted into the book and reading them. This book was a fun return to that, but with a more adult theme. In every other way, unfortunately, it was not my type of book. Unexplained magic, a deep connection to art, and an abrupt cliffhanger are all elements that don't resonate with me. It looks like it takes several more books to get any answers, and even then they may not be satisfying. So I think I'll leave it here. But I'm glad to have given this one a try.

This entire series is an intoxicating read. It's an interactive book of letters and postcards that follow the correspondence of two mystery characters.

A lovely little book, with beautiful art and an interesting premise. Worth reading.

A beautiful homage to the art and romance of letter writing.

Completely unique.  If you like art, you’ll enjoy this one
