I am tired of reading books with Twilight similarities. Patch acted so much like Edward that it sickened me. And Nora, oh dear, she is worse than Bella. I can't even count how many times Patch had to save her because of her own stupidity. If I walked into a store that I was certain was being robbed, I would get out of there as fast as I could. I wouldn't trick the robber into letting me back into the store to see what was going on and then realize that I was in danger and run for my life, only to be caught two seconds later. Nora also treats her mom like crap when she discovers that her mom is dating Hank. If my mom was dating someone that I hated then I would not treat her the way Nora did. I would disapprove of the guy but not degrade my mom and have a tantrum over it. Speaking of drama, Nora is a drama queen throughout the novel, always whining about why she lost her memory and doing stupid things that involves dangerous situations. Half of the things wouldn't have happened in the novel, and Nora would still be human, if she just did what she was told and actually used her brain. All in all, this book was basically a combination of Hush, Hush and Crescendo since Nora had to relearn everything about angels and Patch since she lost her memory thanks to Hank and Patch. The only new event happened at the end when Hank nabs Nora and forces her to swear an oath to become the army of the Nephilims if he were to die. And of course he dies twenty pages later so Nora is now the leader. So the novel ends with a war brewing between the Nephilims and archangels, Nora and Patch still deeply in love with each other, Scott deeply in love with Nora, and Nora and Patch as natural enemies.

4.5 stars. Review to come.

Holy guac, I actually liked this one. I thought I'd dread reading through this one...nope almost as good with the 1st one. Let's just start off the bat by saying-admitting that I actually enjoy this series. But I also like reading 1 star reviews of this series (wait my bad "saga"). Any who, Nora lost her memory yada yada yada, she remembers the color black and feels pleasure...

Okay, I totally snorted at this part. We went over this in psychology, but correct me if I'm wrong, Nora has a good ole' case of classical conditioning or operant (I can't remember >.<) anyways...it was nice to know the *psychological* reasons behind this because other than that, I probably would've thought she was mentally unstable.

Now that we got that covered, Nora wasn't as bad in this one. Yeah, I'm still looking for those smarts that everyone's talking about but you can't help being average I guess. And it would be kind of awkward to go like: "actually I'm not that smart at all...average most likely."

But really!? With the abrupt endings though!? It's like I'm reading a cheesy horror movie *saga*. These endings don't leave me satisfied that I have ended this book, it feels like a part is missing, all that's missing is "to be continued..." Or "find out if Nora and Patch can be together in the next installment..." But I do have to admit I did jump into the next book, because you cannot just leave me hanging like that. You can't. That's like me ending this review with: "Okay guys! The rest of my review is on my blog or on my channel!"
I know I know, it's cool you have a blog an all but GAH!
Anyways...nicely done, very surprising, it went by fast.

She just cries a lot.

I originally read this in 2012. This one is probably my favorite in the entire series! I love it so so much!
