probably the most irritating book out of the series so I gave it 3 stars
If there is one thing I like about an author, it is the way a book can be a fast paced action book that keeps you flipping pages to find out what happens, yet can also have elements of romance, comedy, and suspense. I think the author does a good job of that in this book. I also think she did a good job of the romantic tension between Nora and Patch. Patch is written as a character that I read very sparingly--one that doesn't talk very much, but you can't help but be drawn to him anyway.
I liked the plot of this book, and how the author took a fresh route on a book that was third in the series by giving the main character amnesia. When I read that on the book jacket, at first I thought...lame, but it actually turned out to be interesting, almost like Nora was getting a second start for a while. I'm kind of over the whole "I'm crazy in love with you for whatever reason and will give my life for you blah blah" but hey its Young Adult and that's what's being marketed for this age group I guess. I must say, though, this whole book series has kind of eerily reminded me of twilight, but with a different twist.
That being said, I haven't read the other two books in a long time, so I couldn't really remember a lot of what happened before this one. When Nora questioned who a certain character was, which clearly the reader was supposed to already know, I found myself saying "who indeed" also because I couldn't remember! lol I am excited to read the final book and see how all this is wrapped up.

I really liked this book! There was plenty of action and the story was so fluid, and the climax was very unexpected! The only problem was that it was a slightly anticlimactic. And of course, it left me with an eagerness to read the next book, which who knows when that one will come out! But hopefully not too far off!
I love the main characters! They well written and you can't help but get into their personalities and share their worries. The author does a great job of reeling you in and making you care for the characters. Although I do wish the best friend Vee played a little larger role in the book, she is such a comedic character!
All in all, I love the book and of course can't wait for the next one! If you like the Beautiful Creatures series, or the Fallen series, you should read this one, definitely!

I have not read the first two books but I was still able to follow along. I enjoyed this book. Especially the characters and the complex relationships intervoven throughout it. I will be going back to find the first two and I am ready for the fourth!
very repetitive of the first book, had to go into a lot of details that had already been explained, so I could have almost read this one and not the other two. I hope the last one does a better job.
A verrrrrrrrr, veamos. Primero quiero decir que tooooooodas las paginas y cada una de ellas en la que Nora no habia recuperado la memoria, no sabia nada de nada, fue bastante aburrido. Se repetían cosas que ya sabíamos y era un poco extresante. Se pusieron interesantes las cosas cuando Nora logra acordarse de las cosas.
Nora, Nora ... ¿que haremos con esta chica?. No es posible que cada vez se ponga MAS y MAS insoportable. En serio, ¿con que necesidad? Cada día en menos de progresar, de cae. Se vuelve mas tonta.
Scott se vuelve un personaje que me agrada mucho mas que en el anterior libro. Ya no me da lo mismo que le pueda llegar a pasar, ya me importa. No es EL personaje, pero tengo que admitir que lo quiero un poco. De Vee no hay mucho que decir, lo mismo que el primer libro, creo que es uno de los personajes que me agrada bastante por su tono cómico de las cosas y Scott también. Me molesta mucho los secretos entre Vee y Nora, es decir, vamos, son las mejores amigas, se tienen una a la otra y nada mas, media pila! Bueno de Patch yo creo que no hay nada que decir, ya se sabe que cada ida lo amo mas, y que por lo único que soporto a Nora creo que es por su relación con el.
La mano negra desde el principio he querido que muera, pero se le asume una MUY grande responsabilidad a Nora y hace que lo siga ODIANDO demasiado, y todo. Y lo que EL casi le hace a Patch me hizo querer matarlo MAS, y también a Nora por no cuidar de este objeto tan preciado, por dios, si sabias su significado tenias que cuidarlo JODER!
ODIO la presión que le ponen a Nora al final, me hace enojar mas.
En fin, creo que decayo un poco con respecto al anterior libro, pero no he perdido mi interes por esta saga, quiero saber definitivamente como va a terminar todo!
