One of Michael Connelly's best!

339 p.

Mickey is defending Lacoste, who is accused of murdering a previous client, Glory Days.  Lacoste was her “virtual” pimp and she was also involved in an alleged set-up for Moya, a cartel boss.  Mickey is unpacking two cases that are related and bending the law a bit while he does it.

Season 3 of the Netflix series is based on this book so I was already familiar.  I do prefer the series to the book (which it’s usually the opposite)!

Quite a refereshing read after taking a break from Michael Connelly's book. I thought this book was quite well developed especially for the characters and how the case was planned. Would have liked it if the ending was somewhat different and the defendant was there to see out the trial. I think this book would make a good movie.

Another great Mickey Haller novel. The central conspiracy is riveting

Solid. This book is the best one in this series so far. Connelly is the master of suspense and a master story teller. I could not put it down.

Ok Connelly, it's time for a new Protagonist.

Another great read from Michael Connelly. He's so consistently good, i don't even know how. It starts of a tiny bit slow (especially by Connelly standards), but I read the last 100 pages like my hair was on fire. Thoroughly enjoyable.
