This is an excellent, fast-paced sequel to “The Murders of Molly Southborne”. While it’s hard to talk about the plot without spoiling the prequel, I’ll say that I really enjoyed the fast pace and the horror elements.
This is a book that has a lot of depth despite its short page count. Molly has to contend with several new foes, including shadowy government agents and potential spies, as she struggles to understand her own identity and condition. It’s a very fun series for those who like thrillers and horror novels!

The first book in the series blew me away and stuck with me for months. Sadly this sequel didn’t quite live up to that, but it was still very good. Can’t say much about it without spoiling the first book, but there were some twists and turns that I liked a lot, and it was interesting to follow Molly on some self discovery journeys. I didn’t feel as connected to the story this time, but I still had a great time and am looking forward to reading the third one it comes out.
