It was a really nice novella. There was no major plot to it other than the characters enjoying the festivities of the holiday season.
I really enjoyed them all experiencing the solstice in their own way and it was nice to see some character progression from Elaine.
And did anyone else get beauty and the beast vibes from tamlin? Like when Belle goes to explore the west wing?

this was a nice and fluffy little interlude for the universe, but really not much happened that pushed things along in any way. it’s a christmas special. a good time, but overall not incredibly interesting. i was hoping to see more of rhys and feyre’s new home and exploration of their expanding family.
This was absolutely delightful! I absolutely adored every single moment of it. I felt so happy and content when I finished it.

As its own little cute book, it’s a 5/5. But when compared to the series, I just can’t put it on the same level. Such a cute light hearted novella. The ending we needed on that specific storyline.

I read this at the wrong time of year, lol. It would've been a great, cozy, Christmasy read. Oh, well! It was cute, but it took me longer to finish it than I thought it would. That's all I really have to say!
the birthday cake!!!! excuse me while I cry! anyways, I think it was good to see how everyone’s adjusting after the war and get multiple POVs and it was nice to see just happy, sweet moments from everyone
