 This was my first book by Tember Sapphire and will NOT be my last! I am a sucker for a he falls first & one bed trope. But what I really loved was the way that Tijjani was Catherine's hype squad...the way he empowered her made me so giddy.

ALSO - if a man wants to dirty talk me about formatting and color coding spreadsheets - I WOULD ABSOLUTELY MELT. The mouth on Tijjani was surprising but like in a good way 😜. Also the way he would take control and his adventurousness (aka public play) was 🔥🔥🔥

This book had me hooked right from the start
Watching the chemistry build between Catherine and Tijjani was beautiful to see . And how they both dealt with the media when the story came out about their relationship , I love how Tijjani defended and looked out for Catherine , this is how every man should be with their love . Thank you for such a beautiful love story

This is a hockey romance, and the mmc does play, but the primary focus is on their relationship development. 
We also see a lot of their family dynamics, and at certain points, the involvement from their families did irk me a bit. 
Overall, it's an entertaining story!

This book has some of my favorite tropes in it, the biggest one being best friend’s brother and the second one being fake dating. Both of them are really well executed in this book. The author’s writing style is one of the best in the contemporary romance genre.
The FMC is a badass, independant women and the MMC understand that and doesn’t try to undermine it which is something I loved. The book is fast-paced, which got me hooked from the very beginning. The fact that there no 3rd act breakup was a breather, I really hate 3rd act breakup, it gives me sooo much anxiety.
The spice was good and really well written, the dirty talk wasn’t cringe at all.
I hope I can meet a man like Tijjani in real life 😍 and I hope to be a girl as badass as Catherine.
I really recommend this book !!
This is my first time reading a book from this author but now that I’ve read this one I’m excited to read her other books.
