The end was not only very confusing, but also chock full of metaphors and analogies that didn't really make sense or fit.

This one may top the set as my favourite of the Midnight Louie books, at least so far. I loved all the Elvis trivia and there was just so much in this book that made me laugh. It sure made me look at the Elvis mythos in a new way.

Really couldn't take this book. It wasn't funny, like I was expecting, and it was pretty bland in the writing area. So...just wasn't for me.

I've never read a Midnight Louie mystery before, I picked this book up because of the triple threat of mystery, cats, and Elvis. Although it was a cozy enough read I found the writing a little bland and the conclusion thin - it seemed as if the author was just making it up as she went along. However, I enjoyed the ever present question: 'Is Elvis Really Dead?' and all the little details that twisted along with that subplot.
