A solid YA mystery with solid characters and themes. Having chapters from different character perspectives really works for this story, and I think the time we spend with each character is balanced well. Not surprised this was adapted into a show, it seems well suited for it. When it comes down to it though, none of the characters are very interesting/complex, and I'm not interested in reading the sequel.

A nice easy read which I got through in two days. I did guess the mystery about halfway through, but even then it wasn’t obvious enough that I felt I knew it and there were many details I could not have guessed.
I did enjoy the very real, grounded in reality depictions of trauma; it felt well-researched and I could definitely connect with some character’s experiences
Definitely worth a read and I’ll be on the sequel next, but probably won’t keep the book for a reread personally, which is why I’ve rated it a 3.5

For the most part I enjoyed this book. I figured out the killer immediately but the book wasn't really about that, which I found enjoyable. I liked the constant change of narrator throughout, and the pacing at which information was revealed to the reader. It was intriguing and made for a great read.

I loved this book. It's full of plot twists and a massive one towards the end. I will recommend this to all my friends.
All the characters were always on the edge. I'm a bit sad that I will never read it for the first time again but the second time will be good.
