The second Brown's book that is really engrossing. It just made me wonder if his books were so interesting if they were not based on such conspiracy theories.

Having read this when it was first published, I really enjoyed this reread. This was fast paced and engaging. I appreciate how the expositions were woven into the action so they didn’t seem like “info dumps”.

i'll admit that the plot was ok, but the writing was so atrocious it made my eyes bleed.
Ok, so it's not well written. But it WAS entertaining.

Can I make a confession? This was once my favorite book! Gasp! But as much as I enjoyed it, I found it quite dreadful in a re-read... Brown could write the thoughts of a particular character and turn it into a whole chapter. It's tiresome. I felt like I ran on a treadmill every time I put it down.
I know Dan Brown's books are very controversial - some love it and others hate it. But I really enjoy reading them and I'm not a stickler for books to be historically accurate...that's why it's called FICTION.
I really like how fast-paced and suspenseful the plot is; it was a fantastic page-turner and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I probably won't dive into the next book so soon but I will definitely continue reading the series!
