I did not finish this book. I let it down on page 60 because it wasn’t appealing.
Awesome book for people who are open minded and interested in another theory besides the theory that God created us.
Love a great thriller with historical backdrop!
after seeing it in countless charity shops, and finally watching the film, i decided to read this. it was fun, a little repetitive, sometimes too exposition-y, but a good mystery. i do have to say the film is a lot better at condensing the mounds of information thrown at the audience, but overall the premise is interesting.
Um livro polémico, capaz de gerar tanto interesse como ódio. Por um lado os amantes de aventura, do thriller e do mistério por outro os defensores da literatura como arte. Uma discussão que estamos mais habituados a ver no mundo do cinema, como Hollywood e os seus blockbusters versus o cinema alternativo ou europeu.
Deste modo tal como no cinema, precisamos de analisar cada obra no seu ambiente e nos seus objectivos. Como tal "O Código Da Vinci" se devidamente colocado no seu meio, é uma obra com imensas qualidades, nomeadamente Dan Brown demonstra um imenso savoir-faire no domínio da arte do storytelling. Não existe profundidade dramática, nem personagens tridimensionais, mas existe um desfiar de enredo imparável capaz de arrastar consigo hordas de mentes curiosas. A força do desvelamento operado por Brown funciona como um maremoto que leva na frente tudo e todos, mesmo aqueles que se esforçam por encontrar no livro lacunas, erros, ou passes básicos da literatura.

This book was awesome! The entire concept makes you think and in an even more abstract manner from what you're used to, which is something I thoroughly enjoy.
I found that the dialogue in the book made me cringe fairly frequently. Other than additional bland character development I enjoyed the story and the thematic concepts.
Another excellent entry in the Robert Langdon series. The Da Vinci Code is fast-paced, thrilling, and full of twists. A different type of mystery, and conspiracy, it’s engaging from the start, and does not let up even until the final page. I want more
I'm somewhat of a slow reader and I zipped through this book in record time. Dan Brown is an amazing author; he has a way of ending each chapter so that it makes it ery difficult to stop yourself from turnign the page and continuing on to the next. Loved it.
