Excellent collection. The pleasing format of the short three lines stanzas. The carefully attention to word choice. The deft handling of heavy subjects in a way that allowed to poems to maintain a lightness and atmospheric quality. 👌🏻

Extremely thought-provoking and a quick read. The focus of this one is mostly death and dying, but also an examination kin, family, and ancestry. Overall a wonderful read for poetry fans or casual poetry readers alike!

Thanks to the publisher for providing me with a gifted copy of this one.

This cover is fire. I liked what I could understand of this collection and know it’s better than I could comprehend. It just felt hard to click with because I knew Young was operating at a level I can’t. I just didn’t “get” a lot of it. I did love the poem “Joy”. A standout for me. I want to read about Young and this collection and then revisit.
