What an interesting mix of stories! They were all different yet still pretty cool. I finished this in one sitting, and there were a couple I didn't quite get, but there were some really good ones! My favorites were "Kauhahoa vs. the Mu" by: Patrick S. Baker, "A Western Promise" by: Calvin Demmer, and "Island of Skulls" by: Matt Spencer! Demmer's was definitely my fave, though, it gave me some feels even with it being a short story!! None of these stories ended exactly the way I thought and all of them carried their own personal mark of not only the genre, but a strong authorial voice that is rare to find in most short fiction to day. The fact that such strength in tone and style can come through pulp subject matter, is extremely satisfying to see, but I don’t want to delay any further…
