So there's this alien octopus guy who has all kinds of crazy powers and moves at Mach 20 speed. He's already taken out 75% of the moon and in one year, he's going to take out Earth. What does he wants to do during that year? Be a teacher, of course! So the government assigns him to a classroom full of underachieving seniors and tasks them with assassinating him before their graduation, promising them a 10 billion dollar reward. I mean, he is going to destroy the planet after all. Here's the best part! In addition to being a crazy-powered octopus guy, turns out he's also a pretty darn good teacher who 1) actively teaches his students better assassination skills and 2) helps them see the best part of themselves. This pretty much has to end with them successfully assassinating him and I'm already so sad about it!

If you don't want to read this after all that, I don't know what to tell you.

A low-level middle school class is tasked with assassinating their homeroom teacher, a giant tentacle monster, before he destroys the world at the end of the school year.

This manga is full of those nurturing teacher-student moments that Japanese dramas love. I'm about 90% sure they were parody (because he's giving the students advice on how to kill him), but who knows? This made it a little too ridiculous, even for me. I liked the art style, but I don't think I'll continue the series.
