This book is a classic for a reason and i think it's very iconic. I read it because our school will be performing a play on it soon and some of my friends will be in it so best to know a little about the story? anyways i think they story flows very smoothly and keeps you engaged and it's pretty short! would strongly recommend it's super mysterious and rlly engaging. Also discusses morality. Would also like to add that the language is easy to understand and so this book is quite accessible. Robert Louis Stevenson's descriptions about everything are so on point it's almost as if he paints a picture of the character or setting he describes!

Great concept for a good classic. Less boring than many of the other classics I've read. I audiobooked it right before audiobooking The Three Musketeers. It is boring at points but good as a background on a road trip. I don't recall much, but I remember it being enjoyable

Would have been such a good read if it wasn't so iconic. The entire plot resolves in discovering Dr. Jekyll is actually his mysterious friend, Mr. Hyde; who knew?
Stevenson and his idea of morality is intriguing to me though.

Wonderfully Gothic, with interesting psychological implications, but seems a little thin on rereading (not just in length).
