Hamish is at it again.  This time a tv crew is stirring up old gossip and hard feelings, until one of them gets killed.  And as it turns out, nobody much liked the victim.  Hamish is working to put together some spurious clues, but keeps getting foiled by his supervisors.  Also, a local astrologist begins to play on his sentiments. A local dies, and another of the TV people is killed confusing the issue.  But in the end, justice is served.

Always an entertaining read. Stronger than some in the series. Liked the complex relationship with DI Carter although MacBeth’s commitment issues with women continue to seem a somewhat formulaic source of suspense.
