did have a manga day reading excerpt and loved the style of the drawings, but tbh theexcerpt ended with a male character playing out a Sleeping Beauty scenario with the main character and that's really creepy especially the way the main character is a child just transforming into an adult human. gives off serious pedophilic vibes.

The art is stunning. Just a fantastic experience. However. I'm generally someone who likes being thrown into a world and given little exposition to explain things...this manga really pushed that to the point that I was kind of confused through most of the manga. I felt like I was just missing something the whole time.

Then there's the real problem: Ran is in 4th grade. She has magic shoes that age her up to...17ish? And she insists on using them and going out in the world despite her brother's best attempts to stop her. She hangs out with some drunk dudes, who thankfully do nothing terrible, but then meets this millionaire playboy who at first tells his butler he would never touch her because she's 'a child' (so he must be in his 20s). By the end of the first volume, he's borderline stalking her and tells her they can't be friends while grabbing her jaw and bringing her towards him. Again, he has no idea she's actually a 4th grader, but that is incredibly uncomfortable. I'm good.

Art - 10/10
A cute family story until that one rich creepy guy came into the story. Yikes, my guy...yikes.

Amazing art but some potentially problematic themes...we'll see how we go I think. But I could stare at this art all day.

everything about this book besides the idea of the storyline and the art was bad. the sexualisation of women and kind of pedophilia, just to name some things.

It was an enjoyable small read but I don't think I'mma read the rest of them. It was a weird plot that I didn't particularly like

The fact that the MC can turn into an adult, but is naturally a child, feels like a gate way for indirect paedophilia and it put me off of the book. Especially after the scene of the man that she paints on the walls with
