I feel like I just read a book written by a 13 year old boy to impress an 11 year old boy.

Holy crap this is bizarre. Every page has a new monster or some new disgusting fluid turning up somewhere unexpected. And as if that wasn't enough, there are puns too. Highly recommended if you fancy a fast read that will have you wincing one moment and laughing the next.

I can understand why this would work for some people but it didn't work for me. It's too random, too clearly trying to be edgy and funny, and far too lacking in plot cohesion to be enjoyable. It took me considerable effort to finish this one.

jason pargin’s books are so fun. i’d probably rate this higher if there were less slurs (why the r word so much????) but whatever

it’s like kevin smith wrote a sci fi horror novel. it’s american pie: the nightmare movie. so stupid it’s actually smart. a treat to read tbh

It wasn't that bad but went on for way too long with a type of humor that to me is only funny in small doses, not 440 pages.

Didn’t like this book. I feel like EVERYTHING was left open-ended by the end of the book and I’m busy left massively confused. I know it’s a series- no plan to read the other books though- but seriously, some of the events should at least be actually explained.
