Struggling with this series I’m not going to lie. The pacing of this one felt just as slow as the last one, but crammed a lot in the last 8 chapters. Really frustrating to realize 2/3 books in that this happens during Trials of Apollo not before so I have to read two of those so my timeline makes sense.

That’s me nitpicking but still I’m annoyed I can’t just jump to the third one without potential spoilers for the other series.

Blitz and Hearth are the highlight of the series for me, the human characters not so much. Also what is up with him being attracted to Alex and then him realizing she reminds him of his mom????? No thank you.

Anyway I still love all things Riordan this is just weak compared to his usual stuff.
