It’s a sweet romcom about gelato! What’s not to love. The family connection is sweet and their love story is definitely one you root for. It’s also not overly dramatic and they communicate well in the ways that you would hope for from a love match ❤️. It’s definitely meant for romance book lovers.

Overall, this was an ok romcom. It doesn't stand out as particularly noteworthy for me, but I enjoyed it and it was a nice light break after a heavier novel.

I loved the premise: Coming across a place her mother had been and a secret gelato recipe. 

The added layer of why she was in New York adds a realness to the story. 

I enjoyed the Italian-American family, all the sisters, and the family business. 

I didn’t love the secrets. She lied by omission and after their first meeting, it became deceptive. 

Overall, a fun read.
