I love books that are art and art that is a book. This beautiful little collection of 100 mini essays reviews artist Lucy Bellwood's life in 100 objects. Not all are family mementos or significant materials. They are the flotsam and beloved jetsam of every day life, a beloved water bottle one day, a gag gift from a friend on another. At once extremely specific but also universal in our tendency as humans to keep and treasure objects, the well flashed Ink drawings and short prose are a delight to read. It all comes in a gorgeous gold foil slip case that is sure to be an inspiration on any desk; like it is on mine.
