This was quite the entertaining novel (basically novella). Orwell's sense of humor and wit is very easy to understand and enjoy, and his use of language is incredibly accessible.

Orwell was not subtle with his references to authoritarianism and I love him for that. For a short book, I found it really drag but that might have just been where I was reading it. I feel like I learnt from it, it's good commentary on régimes.

Omg the pigs in this book were so annoying all the way through the book. What I will say this book is certainly interesting but I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. I am glad I have read this after many months of wanting to read but in a way what did I read. Not a book that I liked sadly xxx

Somehow I removed this groundbreaking book completely from my shelves so I’m going to have to rewrite a review later and find out when I first read it.
