The character arc of both sisters is well developed, even though at times they both seem silly, Austin does a great job of keeping them grounded. The plot was good, I was genuinely curious how it would end. Even though I knew a happy ending was inevitable, I wasn't sure how we'd get there. There was also laugh out loud moments, I think Austin's humor is unique.

In the end which was better sense or sensibility? Austen seems to think they both have their merits and faults, so is moderation the main message? I think it's something more like an examination into different perspectives and ways of living. Neither sister is the worse of the two but I definitely relate to Elinor more.

Perhaps the funniest Austen novel I've read. The trend here is the most recent one tops the former but the ending I felt was a bit protracted... same issue I had with Northanger Abbey oh well.

No Jane Austen heroines have been humbled like the Dashwood siblings omg

Charlotte Palmer is a gag hahahaha.

Also that damn Fanny can rot. 4.5 starzzz

“they could live without disagreement between themselves, or producing coolness between their husbands”.

can’t believe this took me 5 months to finish. wow.

however, it’s taken me 15 years to finally read a jane austen novel, and i have never felt more at ease now that i’ve finished it all.
this book was a journey and a half to say the least, and it’s safe to say i’ve explored an old yet beautiful style of writing which i loved so much throughout. jane austen is spectacular & i cannot wait to binge read the rest of her books.
