Aurora slipped back into entitled/whiny mode...I'm sure glad this series is at an end!

First-the narrator was great-she saved this book.

Second-I am finally acknowledging that I really dislike Roe.
Why I kept reading and listening to these books,I don’t know (well, I like the minor characters like John, etc).
Roe is self centered and obnoxious. The entire time I listened I was getting so irritated.

So, done with Roe and the entire gang.

I loved this series and was unhappy when I heard that it was over. But lo and behold, I saw that we had indeed gotten more books with Roe!

Sadly, this book was not good. It took NINETY minutes for there to be an actual mystery. Five full chapters of Roe having the flu and babbling about baby stuff. Honestly, if I didn't enjoy the series so much, despite having not read a new one in years, I would've given up. This is not a mystery that includes a baby, this is a book about a baby and new mother that just so happens to include a mystery. Such a disappointment.

After reading Sleep Like a Baby, I hope this is not the last novel in the series. I am starting to enjoy Roe more now. (I found her annoying with Martin.). She is a character that grows on you, and having Robin and Philip (and her own baby) has kind of grounded her more. If this is the final book, it does leave you satisfied. I am glad I stuck with the series and will be trying out her standalone and other cozies.

Convoluted and with an ending that’s upsetting to basically everyone, except Roe and Robin for some reason seem immune to normal human feelings. This one gets the big ick.
