Hated the narration. Just because you can write a book doesn’t mean you should narrate it. Might try actually using my eyes instead of my ears on this one.

Best book I've read so far this year. Excellent attention to detail for the characters, plot dialogue. Pacing is spot on and if you like Sci-Fi then the way this story develops will keep you turning pages wanting more. Can't wait to read the next in the series

Wow, Scott really goes for the gross-out here. Look out Stephen King. I find Scott's books very readable (what does that even mean?) Ending was abrupt. Possibly setting up for a sequel. I want to know more about it! I may even have nightmares.

Did anyone else get EXTRA creeped out by the association with Morgellons? Look it up if you haven't, I thought I was being April Fool's day spoofed but I don't think so!

Ok honestly? It’s pretty rare I give a book 1 star but I am so glad that’s over.

52 Book Club #19: Has short chapters

I don't know how to really rate this, so I'm giving it a 4 because I had fun with it. This is the kind of book that is neither good nor bad in my opinion, but it's entertaining. And really, that's all it needed to be. It definitely shows its age, but tbh, I'm not really bothered by it, considering this was pretty typical of the early-to-mid 2000s. I'd continue on with this series, but at a later date since I have other books I want to read first and this wasn't fun enough to make me go pick up #2 immediately.

Started promising, but I quit 75% of the way through because of the toxic masculinity, misogyny, and just overall nasty tone this book has.
