It was okay — the story felt like it was trying too hard most of the time. The flying houses seemed a little overdone and a little too bizarre.

A fun read! I think I am still reeling from it all- It is possibly the most zany book I have ever read and asks a lot of the reader to take in stride, but it's whimsical and fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. I still don't think I really understood most of the book- there was a lot happening at all times and I do think the book lacks a bit of focus, but I still had a lot of fun reading. May revisit this one later!

Listened to the audiobook for this one to have it finished in time for a bookclub! Wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read, but it was fun time! The narrator made the characters fun and exciting, and the whole book had a goofy, whimsical vibe. The blot was kind of confusing though, so it was really more of a 3.5, but not confusing enough to be a 3.

Too predictable and felt like it was dragging on. Could have been shorter.
