The essays, speeches, interviews and articles were well chosen and edited nicely to make a well put together work of non-fiction. Highly recommend.

This definitely transcends rating.

Great introduction to Angela Davis. Can't believe it's taken me this long. Absolutely looking forward to engaging with more of her work.

Everyone should read this book and stop being ignorant.

Since this is a compilation of interviews and speeches, some things are repeated. But repetition is how our brains remember things, and many of these people and events are worth remembering.

A very important read about activism and how destroying the industrial complex is way more important and impactful than punishing the individual.

That with interconnectedness, the combining of global suffering into one large battle amongst all, is the only way we make change.

This book really gets you into the kind of Angela Davis with what starts as a q and an and then transitions to speeches made at events. Each bit of it is powerful and illuminating and depressing and hopeful at the same time.

Angela Davis is truly someone to go down in history.

10/10
Absolutely would recommend to anyone interested in activism and how to make impactful changes.
