This book compiles speeches by Angela Davis between 2013 and 2015 along with interviews and one article she wrote for The Guardian. Reading them together in one compact book was informative because it really drives home her mission and vision. It was illuminating in that it really connected so many seemingly disparate movements that are ultimately connected. It's truly hard to wrap your mind around it all, and that's part of the point. It's necessary to think about all of the struggles in order to eradicate the nearest struggle. That there is power in movements, in radical measures, in extraordinary lengths.
