So had finish this book but I forget to about it. but this is what I like about it. Its a retelling about Lucifer (but they also bring up Hades and Persephone so yeah...) who is making a deal with Hannah a woman who is looking for her friend who is lost in Las Vegas. who she has to stay with him for 7 nights and each night has to intel the seven deadly sins. The sex don't come later and there is a big shock but I feel like I kinda saw it coming. This will kinda remind you of Lucifer the tv show so if you like that you are going to like this.

Read like Lucifer x Shadowhunters x Fifty Shades fan fiction

I like the premise because I’m a sucker for Hades and Persephone. I thought her take on Heaven and Hell was interesting and not one I’d seen before.

I think it lost the plot with a bit too many mythical creatures: angels, the devil, gargoyles, vampires, fae, shifters, succubus and incubus, dragons… felt like a crowded kitchen.

Idk why she was like “I kept keep living like this, In fear of Adam finding me” when in every single life she didn’t remember anything anyway?? So until she meets Lucifer she doesn’t even know to feel any fear.?

Might continue the series since it’s on KU anyway.

One of the coolest spins on the Hades/Persephone story. I cannot wait to read the rest!!!

This combines aspects of greek mythology with Hades and Persephone with a bit of the modern Lucifer thrown in for good measure. It is a new twist to the old story. And a naughty as sin one at that. Normally I am not a fan of the reborn/meant to be together thing because it makes it seem like the people have no choice. This was not like that. It was interesting and full of chemistry. I mean sizzle on high heat. I highly recommend for anyone that likes demon coups, paranormal romance, and heat on high.

I’ve always been drawn to books where it is a take on Lucifer and his dealings, especially when romance is involved. It’s always so steamy and dark, and this book definitely takes you there. It is filled with fire, passion, anger, lust and all those feelings of hatred blended with want.

The characters are brought to life quickly, and they are filled with personality, spite, fire and a definite unique draw that really makes you want to get to know them and see where this crazy ride takes you.

It is a swift read and flows well, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it, as every page is bursting with great story and a real reason to become invested in this series. I loved every page and was definitely left craving more.

Overall, an absolutely brilliant read and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

Compelling Read

I started and finished this book in one day. Each chapter revealed just a little bit more to keep me wanting to press on to find out more. Can’t wait until the next book comes out.
