I was almost not going to read this because I hate the FMC name. But this book was cute, and the fluffy WC book I was looking for.

DNF at 7% when the FMC Cricket decided to go out with the wolf shifter Theo to watch him shift.

The characters were way too juvenile for me and repeatedly emphasizing that Cricket liked wearing crop-tops and short shorts to shock people was too much. I thought it was super weird for her to call her aunt Aurora "Ror" instead of Auntie or something. The romance between Cricket and Theo so far consisted of just lusting after each other thinking about how hot the other was rather than having any meaningful conversations for character development like an adult.

Not my cup of tea. I had marked the book as not-interested based on friend's reviews but decided to give it a chance when I saw people in r/ReverseHarem had marked the author as one of their favorite must-reads.

This is my second read through and I love it just as much as the first time. It’s so sweet and the characters are great. If you’re looking for a YA type of RH, that is a slow burn and will just give you all the warm and fuzzies, this is it. Willow Hadley is soo good at this kind of story.
With this read through I went for the audiobook version. The narrators did a great job and I love the fact that we had duel narration. I can’t wait to listen to the next in the series!

I'm so glad I started this one! The characters are ADORABLE! Their interactions are adorable. Their families relationships with them are adorable too. There's so much I loved about this story, but I especially love that once these four realized they had some sort of bond/attraction, that was it for them. Even if they weren't completely sold on what it meant, they pushed to find ways to spend time together and feel things out. They made each other priorities and communicated (for the most part lol). It's borderline insta-love, but for once I didn't mind it. And I laughed so much at their antics and they way they all interacted. This was seriously cuuuute.

I am still reeling over the fact that this mostly takes place over one week? Does that mean we'll have a few books before her bond marks show up? That's pure agony to wait. It seemed like much longer, but it's because each entire day from sun up to sun down is detailed. I also almost stopped reading at the beginning because I don't like recessive internal monologue, but the storyline quickly swept me away and I found myself no longer paying attention to it.
