The kind of book that makes you stop and say “wow” when it reaches its crescendo. This one was emotionally exhausting, but positively stunning. It even seeped into my dreams last night. I found the thread between postpartum psychosis, storytelling, and indigenous ancestral (and contemporary) trauma to be extraordinarily well crafted. I had no idea how it would all end and I was admittedly worried it wouldn’t stick the landing but it reeeeaaaallly did. Amazing.
