This book alternated between too cheesy I didn’t like it and super cheesy but I’m enjoying it. The face blindness aspect was interesting and I liked seeing Sadie’s experience as an artist navigate  it. However it still felt so unrealistic. Sadie was so perceptive of voices for done people but others,
like Joe’s she doesn’t and it gets explained away as he talks professionally at work???
She noticed Joe’s gait but
doesn’t when Joe is wearing scrubs
. Parker & Lucinda felt unrealistically evil - like straight out of Cinderella. as did the dad. My favorite part of the entire book was actually the author’s note at the end. Her commentary on romance books was so wonderful. Overall the journey felt really over the top - especially when Sadie was feeding her elderly dog different takeout meals every night lol. Basically if Jess from New Girl went face blind meets Cinderella. The shining stars for me was Peanut the dog and the landlords (the Kims).

The miscommunication trope is not my favorite, but I overall really enjoyed it

This book was so cute!! I knew what facial blindness was before reading this but i had never really seen or read any books that mentioned. So it was really interesting to read about it and learn about it and the romance in this book was just really cute. Also reading about sadie’s life and seeing how she overcame her struggles it was so amazing. Overall really good book definitely gonna read more by Katherine Center!

If you need a dose of happiness you should pick up this sweet and relatable read. An interesting story with a new twist I haven’t read before. It’s a romantic twist that is not as suspenseful as a thriller but was entertaining. Finally my true Nancy Drew skills

This book had such a good plotline at the beginning, but the evil stepsister was making me so mad that I just had to put this book down.
