What would you do if your son was bullied by a classmate and his family? Would you sit back and watch while the law isn’t on your side, or would you take matters into your own hands? That is the dilemma faced by the protagonists of The Couple's Revenge, a psychological thriller by Daniel Hurst that explores the dark side of parental love and the consequences of bullying.

This is a roller-coaster ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Daniel Hurst does a great job of portraying the issue of school bullying and its devastating effects on the victims and their families. He also shows the psychological impact of the trauma and the desire for revenge on the main characters. There are some unexpected plot twists that will surprise and satisfy you. The ending is fulfilling and rewarding, as it gives a sense of closure and justice to the story.

However, it has some weaknesses that may lower your enjoyment. The main characters' plan for revenge is quite clumsy and reckless. Their actions are not well-planned and often backfire on them. The ending is also quite unbelievable, as it seems too convenient and unrealistic.

Overall, it is a good thriller that will keep you hooked and entertained. It is not a masterpiece, but it is a fun and quick read. It has a gripping plot, a serious theme, and some satisfying twists. If you are looking for a thrilling and suspenseful book that will make you question how far you would go for your loved ones, you might want to check out The Couple's Revenge by Daniel Hurst.

This book was so boring. I’m glad it only had 229 pages cause I was tempted to abandon it. This is the first book that I have read from this author. I was excited to read it as it was marketed as a “psychological thriller.” So far, nobody can hold a candle to Frieda McFadden when it comes to suspense. The story was sooooo obvious! I wasn’t shocked at all. The dialogue wasn’t great and there wasn’t rich vocabulary or language to keep me interested either. I am an avid reader and this was just such a disappointment.

A mother will always protect their child especially when they fear their son is being bullied. Sara will do everything she can to protect her son from the bullying from his classmate. What will she do to put an end to this, and how far will she go ?
Another brilliant psychological thriller by Daniel Hurst. Fast paced and suspenseful, and kept my interest the whole way through, and wow what a twist. I really didn't expect that !! Thank you Daniel and NetGalley for my ARC.

Found this book extremely slow and predictable. Struggled to finish but was recommended by a friend so I was constantly hoping it would pick up
