Parts of this book were great, but it went on too long and most of the side characters were infuriating. I also think the author could have benefited from a thesaurus, which was more apparent in audio than it may have been in print — in several instances, she would use the same words three or four times in a short stretch, which was distracting. I’d give her another chance but this was more of a flop for me than I’d hoped.
