I gave this selection 1 star because I did not like it. Not because it's all around bad. It has a slight paranormal element and it's somewhat of a "who dun it" book but it just wasn't written to my liking. I barely got past the 2nd chapter. I will be passing it along to a friend who may actually enjoy it. I just don't have the patience for it.

Jayne’s work always boarders the paranormal but this was definitely 100% in that camp. This is the kind of paranormal romance I can get behind. It’s a change of pace for her to place her characters in a world that is very aware of those types of sensibilities and talk about them openly. I just love Janye’s work in general to be honest. Another thrilling read.
