I stroked the queen ant's forehead. "May I call you Mama?"

this book made me grin SO HARD and aggressively exhale from my nose a lot (might also have something to do with my on-going head cold)

It was so easy for me to just jump back into Percy's world. As if the last time I read a Riordan book was last week and not nearly a decade ago. Rick's humor just matches mine so well -- maybe because I grew up on it. Apollo is so goddamn funny. I love this melodramatic fool! Apollo's diva hysteria combined with typical teen angst is an insane combo and I AM SEATED. I LOVED SEEING EVERYBODY AGAIN. I also LOVED how Rick made use of the Colossus of Nero! AAAAAAA

Great classic Riordan book. Apollo in all his self-centred glory.
